About
Amelia is an American actor and dancer originally from Dana Point, California. The youngest of three sisters, she spent her formative years in Southern California before attending Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, where she made history as the second female Student Body President since the school’s founding in 1797. Amelia later graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Musical Theatre and Advertising. While at SMU, Amelia served as chapter president of Kappa Kappa Gamma and was also selected as a rookie finalist for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ training camp.
In 2022, Amelia relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally, training at John Rosenfeld Studios and The Groundlings. She has since moved to New York City to deepen her craft, studying at Stella Adler, Terry Schieber, and the Mark Evans Studio, while also working with acclaimed coach Tony Greco.
Amelia has appeared in several films, including the Tribeca Film Festival 2024 Best Narrative Short nominee Shut Up Jack. She also stars in the upcoming shorts Bliss and Lost Connection, both set for release in 2025. After relocating to New York, Amelia made her off-Broadway debut as choreographer and dancer in Joan of Arc in a Supermarket in California, a distinctive performance staged in a Brooklyn deli.
Most recently, Amelia choreographed Caroline Strickland’s music video Prettiest Girl of Heaven. When not acting, Evans continues to train, write, model, and perform, while also engaging in social media skits and freelance street interviews for various brand campaigns.
